Flagged product is intercepted before it reaches a pickable bin, excluded from available-to-pick, and every disposition posts to Acumatica.
QA puts a lot on hold, and the only thing standing between that lot and a customer is a piece of tape.
That, and whoever is picking. The blocked location gets forgotten, or a picker takes it because the screen told him to, and the first anyone knows is a complaint or a recall notice.
Then somebody spends a day reconstructing which shipments touched the lot, from paperwork.

A flagged lot is routed to quarantine at receipt and never enters available-to-pick; a manager releases part of it and scraps the rest, and the scrap posts to Acumatica as an Inventory Adjustment whose reference is written back onto the hold record. Document numbers are examples, not a customer's.

Auto-hold at receipt
Products flagged for hold route to the hold location automatically at putaway. No manager action needed.
Never offered to a picker
Held stock drops out of available-to-pick automatically. No manual exclusions, no blocked locations to maintain.
Scanner warns on contact
Scan a held product or pallet and the scanner warns first. An override is possible, and recorded.
Hold one pallet, not the lot
A hold can be scoped to a single license plate while other pallets of the same product stay pickable.

Four disposition paths
Full release, partial release, scrap, or reject. Each posts the right Acumatica adjustment automatically.
Partial release
Release 50 of 200 units and leave the rest held. Each partial release is its own audit record.
Manual hold from the portal
A manager can hold any inventory at any location from the location detail page, with a reason. No scanner needed.
Traceable back to the truck
Every hold records whether it was automatic or manual, and which receiving session it came from.
What posts, and when.
Every disposition that changes quantity — scrap, reject, or a release that adjusts stock — posts an Inventory Adjustment to Acumatica immediately, and the Acumatica adjustment reference is written back onto the hold action record.
Nobody re-keys a scrap into the ERP, and no held quantity sits in Acumatica as available while it is quarantined on the floor.
Every action against a hold — notes, partial quantities, status changes, the scrap decision — is kept with who did it and when, so the disposition trail survives the person who made it.
