Each product can carry its own acceptable variance, overriding the default. Tighter tolerances where value demands.

What posts, and when.
An approved variance posts to Acumatica as an Inventory Adjustment automatically, and the Acumatica adjustment reference is written back onto the cycle count record, so the audit trail runs in both directions from one screen.
When Acumatica confirms the adjustment back over webhook, WMSi reconciles its local balance against the quantity Acumatica actually recorded — closing the loop between what was posted and what landed.
Nothing is re-keyed, and the two systems are never silently out of step.
